Who doesn’t love a vibrant Summer, especially if you can smell it or eat it? Combining colorful, fragrant flowers and delectable macarons, Angie and Kiana of Tulipina worked together to create this sensory collage of color. Grab your sunglasses…it’s going to be a bright sunshiny day!

Chronicle Books just released Rosette Art, an adorable kit for crafting rosettes for all sorts of celebratory occasions.  There’s even a set of instructions for making rosettes for your prize-winning pets!  Oh, you don’t have a pet that regularly wins agility competitions or competes in dog shows?  Boost his self-esteem by making him a ribbon to honor his daily efforts: Best Sloppy Smooch?

The book is full of cute ideas photographed by Angie, so take a look at your local bookstore.

Have you checked out Click Magazine yet?  Click is a division of PDN that focuses on women in photography, and Angie has been working with them on their recent issue to bring some of her pretty photos to its pages.  In the January/February 2013 issue, Angie collaborated with calligraphist extraordinaire Maybelle to create this call-to-action to encourage readers to enter their love-inspired photo contest.

Looking at this photo makes us remember the good ol’ days of passing notes in grade school, long distance pen pals, and handwritten love notes on carefully-chosen stationary. When was the last time you wrote a meaningful letter or note by hand?  When was the last time you dotted every i with little hearts and folded paper with the concentration and precision of an origami artist?

New Year’s resolutions may not be your cup of tea, but we think that secret note-passing and pretty handwriting should make a comeback in 2013.

Flowers, puppies, and sunshine: here are some snapshots from Angie’s Fall 2012 promo shoot.  With the help of food stylist Fanny Pan, prop stylist Lara Ritch, and floral designer Kiana Underwood, the shoot was full of beautiful details and rich colors.

Stay tuned for finished promo photos later in the week!

Summer may officially be a thing of the past, but that doesn’t mean we can’t cling to our summer state of mind with fun pastel colors and sweet treats.  Angie worked with prop stylist Jesse Silver to bring cheery colors and contemporary energy to her recent editorial shoot, and the photos look positively perfect.  We enjoyed having Jesse in the studio because she’s a stellar prop stylist, but we probably would have asked her to visit just so we could hear about her life as a houseboat resident.  Even talking about houseboats make us feel like summer is still pumping through our veins.

If we keep shooting jobs like this, it can be summer all year…right?
